Landscape Designer

Key Responsibilities:
- Conducts site visits for design requests.
- Designs landscapes for retail and installation.
- Prices and sells landscape installations.
- Provides coordinator and landscape installers with all necessary paperwork to install.
- Makes himself or herself available to oversee the installation
- Generates invoices from completed paperwork
- Follows up with clients after installation is complete
Skill and Abilities:
- Thorough knowledge of plants and horticultural practices.
- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and jobs.
- Ability to make decisions and work independently.
- Creative and up to date with today’s trends.
- Comfortable with computers.
- Organized and goal orientated.
Working Conditions:
- Love working in a fast-paced environment.
- During the peak season is willing to work a six-day week with extended hours.
- Enjoy working in and out of an office.
- Enjoys working closely with others to complete tasks.
Qualifications:
- Landscape Design or install experience.
- 2 years of Landscape Design or Horticultural training.
- ‘G’ class Ontario driver’s license.
