Loved for their feather like foliage that grows out in a symmetrical ring adding structure to any space. Dark green, glossy foliage is such an eye catcher that you will want to have one for yourself.

 

Light

Prefer bright, indirect sunlight. Avoid placing them in direct sunlight. Indoor plants can be moved outside in the summer months as long as they are placed in dappled sunlight.

 

Soil

As long as sago palm have good drainage they should be happy. A potting mix made for cactus or succulents is a good choice.

 

Water

They prefer moderate amounts of moisture in the soil. Water whenever the soil feels dry to the touch, making sure never to overwater to the point of soggy soil. Slightly reduce watering in the winter when the plant is not actively growing.
