When grown in direct sun, the leaves will turn ruby red. However, when grown in low light , the leaves will revert to green and the plant will become leggy.

Water
Let your sting of rubies dry out thoroughly between waterings. String of rubies, like most succulents are susceptible to root rot if overwatered. Water your plant thoroughly, allowing any excess water to drain out of the pot.
